Anyway, so I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do today. I still need to find "Farang Street", where all the foreigners hang out. And I still wanted to get back to all the ruins I ran past during the race on Sunday. I decided to do that instead. I remember seeing a huge sleeping Buddha and I wanted a better look at that.
So I hopped on a tuk-tuk and off we rolled to Wat Lokayasutharam. And no. I have no idea what that means. Anyway, I wandered around awhile, took a ton of pictures (see the gallery....there's a few of those FEROCIOUS dogs I've been telling you about) and met some woman who slipped two good luck charms into my hands and told me, "Not to worry. Everything would be alright." Well that's all fine and dandy but then she wanted 500 BAHT for this crap. Last week, I probably would've given in but screw that. 500 Baht is almost two sundresses and I'm not spending that on trinkets. So I told her I'd give her 100 and she got all pissy. I walked away and then she tore off after me and took 100. It's like dealing with a used car salesman.
