Well i've been in Bangkok for a few weeks and while this place is civilization (I can get Subway DELIVERED for chrissakes), it's still Thailand. Which means it still has wild dogs running around, it still smells like a dump sometimes, it's still hot as hell, and people still don't know that great of English. I'm not complaining. This move has made life tolerable.
There's an Irish pub at the end of our soi (it's basically a side-street) and they serve Maker's Mark. As soon as I can drink again, I am getting so shitfaced on bourbon that it isn't even funny.
